Welcome to the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department's webpage.  We hope your visit with us will be helpful and informative.

Bethel Volunteer Fire Department is located in the Northeastern corner of York County and has been in existence since 1966.  We cover an area of approximately 61 square miles consisting of over 18,000 residents and over 300 businesses in the fast growing Lake Wylie and Clover, SC areas.

We are a 100% Volunteer organization which consists of over 50 active, lifetime, and probationary members.  Our members' experience in the Fire Service spans from over 40 years to just a few months.  If you are interested in finding out more about us and/or how you can help us, please see the Contact Us section of our webpage.

Our mission is to protect the lives and property of our neighbors and visitors in the Bethel Volunteer Fire District.  We strive to provide professional and courteous service while executing our sworn duties for our community.  Our duties include fire suppression, property conservation, search & rescue, vehicle and machinery extrication, EMS assistance, fire prevention, and mutual aid support to surrounding fire departments.  Additionally, we provide community services such as first aid, CPR/AED training, fire extinguisher operation assistance and basic fire prevention tips.  We are also available to participate in neighborhood and community events (such as parades, school events, July 4th events), Holiday parties, and birthday parties, etc.  If you have interest in any of the above activities, please see the Contact Us section of our webpage.

If you are interested in information about becoming a member of Bethel Volunteer Fire Department, please see the Contact Us section of our webpage.  We invite you to join us and serve your community.
